"Tamsui Old Street" has long been a well-known hot spot in Taiwan and attracts many foreigners. There are many lively shops on both sides of the street. There are thick pie shops, grocery stores, trendy clothes, and toys. Of course, there are also the most popular foods such as Aki, fish ball, and historic sites. The Tamsui Old Street is divided into the outer side of the river bank (the golden waterfront trail) and the inner side of the old street. Here you can see the famous ancient morning roasted cakes, grilled squid, old lady's eggs, fish crisps, and giant ice cream. There are Tamsui fish balls and so on. They are all foods that must be eaten here.

From the Tamsui station, turn right, Zhongzheng Road and the extended reconstruction street and Qingshui Street are the famous Tamsui Old Street.

Tamsui Old Street is divided into inner and outer sides. The outer side is a golden waterfront trail on the river bank. The inner side is a traditional old street. There are lively shops on both sides of the street. There are thick cake shops, grocery stores, and trendy clothes. With toys. The famous popular foods in this area, such as Aga, fish balls, fish cakes, fresh roasted cakes and old lady eggs, are all foods that must be eaten here. In the evening, you can admire the beauty of the setting sun on the golden waterslide.

Due to the earlier development of the redevelopment street on the hillside, there are still many old wooden houses and brick houses on both sides of the road. When they reach the bottom of the street, they can still look at the mouth of the Tamsui River from a height. Later, due to commercial development, another street parallel to the reconstruction street was formed, mainly rice shops and rice milling industry. Therefore, it was called “Mi Shi Zai” (now the northern section of Qingshui Street) until the construction of the Qing Shi Zu Temple. , Mishi Street was renamed Qingshui Street. Walking along Zhongzheng Road Old Street, you can see the statue park of Mackay, which has a great influence on the Tamsui. There are historical monuments such as Shishui Temple, Fuyou Palace, Dr. Mackay and Danshui Chapel along the road. In addition to the old street to visit and win, the specialty shops in the old street are a good place to go shopping and enjoy the food.

The local food “Aki”, which must be eaten in Tamsui, was translated literally from a portion of the “oil tofu” in Japanese. The practice was to hollow out the middle of the oil tofu, fill in the fried winter powder and then marinate the marinade, and then use the fish paste. Seal it and cook it, and finally topped with sweet chili sauce or secret sauce that is unique to the store.

I hope you will also like it a lot. It is a very good place for you to go with your family.
